LeBron James overwhelms Luka Doncic's sick version, showing an advantage fans can't see
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James shared his thoughts on Luka Doncic’s impressive change of form, praising the Slovenian star for his efforts over the summer.

According to the 40-year-old superstar, Doncic’s new slimmer body will have a big impact on his fitness, recovery and long-term career.
"It's not that Luka's way of playing is going to change. It's not that he's not going to make more progress. It's not that he's not going to score 30-40 points, 15 rebounds and 10-12 constructions per game," LeBron said on the Mind The Game podcast with NBA legend Steve Nash. In other words, it's the same.
"The statistics won't change. From my point of view, what will change for him is how he feels the day after the game, how he won't get tired in 3 matches in 4 days."

LeBron James added: “I think Luka himself will realize that this slim, agile and great shape will bring great benefits, especially in recovering after every game.
As a teammate, I am extremely proud of Luka and what he has been through this summer. Obviously everyone knows how great Luka is, but he still takes six to eight weeks to really invest in his body, that’s worth saying.”

Faced with a lot of criticism about fitness, fitness or being overweight for eating and living out of moderation, Luka Doncic has been determined to lose weight, gain muscle and exercise over the past summer.
BasketNews quoted a source close to him as saying that Doncic lost about 12-14kg compared to the previous season but still maintained his impressive muscle mass.
In the summer, he jacketed the Slovenian national team and left a strong mark with more than 30 points per game. This shows that the weight loss had no effect on Luka’s shift.

Throughout his career, Luka Doncic has five All-Star appearances, five All-NBA team honors, won the 2019 Rookie of the Year title and was the scoring king of the 2023–24 season before joining the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals.
Last season, the Slovenian star averaged 28.2 points and 8.2 rebounds, 7.7 assists per game in the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers.
